First off, I hope everyone enjoyed spending time with their family and friends over the easter long weekend! Secondly, GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS to all participating athletes at the 2011 Canadian Open Championships that are being held in Calgary this week! It is hard to believe the year has passed by so quickly.
Our team enjoyed our 4 day easter holiday this past weekend but are now back at the pool starting to prepare for our competition that is just over a month away. We will be competing in the combo, tech team and free team events at the Italy open from June 8-12th.
This weekend Montreal is hosting the 2011 Canada Cup diving competition at the Olympic Stadium. The pool has been super busy with both our national teams training in one pool and divers from all over the world training in the other dive tank. It is a great experience to see another FINA aquatics competition and the other athletes training at our facility!!
