The countdown is nearing completion, with only 3 days left until we are off to Russia!
Last night, there was a sever ice storm that passed through Montreal which concluded with our practice being cancelled this morning! That means we had a full day to rest up before our big send off show tomorrow afternoon. Luckily for me, my parents as well as Hal and Catrine Klien were in town and I got to spend the day showing them around my new city!
On Monday, we leave Montreal Trudeau Airport at 6:30pm, for our 12hour long flight to Russia. We stop in Frankfurt, Germany for a 4 hour layover. Talk about jetleg! I have never been on an airplane for so long, please feel free to suggest ideas to keep me busy while on the plane!
I will try to keep you posted on results while I am at the competition. Wish me luck!

Weekend of rest..
Our team got this weekend off to recover our muscles and prepare for next weeks tough practices! On Friday after our practice, our team got together for our first team bonding activity, it was very different to see everyone without wet hair and swim suits on! Today, the two girls I live with (Becky and Annabelle) and me went to Cosco to buy our food supplies for the week, it is important we get all the nutrition we need to stay healthy and in top shape for the competition! Just 2 more weeks ahead until we are off to Russia.

This year, the A team (my team) will be competing at this competition located in Moscow, Russia from December 2nd-6th. Our team will be competing in 4 events: thematic team, acrobatic routine, combo and duet. We have just 3 more weeks of training left, its time for some hard work in the pool!!
