After just two short weeks of training under the sun,our team has official returned from Cancun, Mexico. We trained in an outdoor pool from 7am-12:30pm and then headed to the gym until 2pm from Monday-Saturday. On our first day off, our team went on a catamaran boat excursion where we got to go snorkeling and enjoy a day of water travel to various beaches and islands! While in Mexico, we also enjoyed going out for dinner to different traditional Mexican restaurants where we mostly ordered fajitas and tacos! On our last day in Mexico, our team travelled to the beaches of Playa del Carmen and spent the day soaking up our last moments of sunshine! We did lots of tough training while in Mexico but still managed to balance our hard work with a little bit of fun.
Now for some sad news...! As many of you have heard, there was a Tsunami that hit Japan early last week. With this in effect, our team can no longer travel to Tokyo to compete in the Japan Open at the end of April. We are currently having to adjust our plan for the rest of this year.. but all is working out!
